How long does it take to get an admission decision from LSU?

The first round of admissions decisions are normally sent out around the Christmas/New Years break. After that we try to provide decisions within 30 days of a file becoming complete. At times during the application cycle, applicants may experience waits of 6 to 8 weeks to receive a decision.

Is LSU waiving the GRE?

THE GRE HAS BEEN WAIVED FOR 2021 AND 2022 ADMISSION CYCLES. Previously, we recommended a cumulative quantitative and verbal score of 297 or better. If you decide to send your GRE score, when requesting GRE scores be sent to LSU, applicants are encouraged to select the LSU code 6373.

Does LSU require the GRE?
