How do you become a CHCP?
The student must have earned a cumulative GPA of 2.0 (“C” average) in the certificate or diploma program from which they have graduated. Participants should also be able to read and write English, have good coordination, and demonstrate professional attributes.
How long does it take to get the money from financial aid?
If you’re a first-year undergraduate student and a first-time borrower, you may have to wait 30 days after the first day of your enrollment period (semester, trimester, etc.) before your school is allowed to give you your loan money.

Does CHCP drug test students?
The drug screen will be completed by the first day of class. Applicants are allowed to test only once. If the result is positive, the applicant is removed from the program and deferred from reapplying for one year, at which time they may re-apply and repeat the entire admission process.
